Lee county covers the area South of Gasparilla Island to the reefs off of Fort Myers. The area has many artificial reefs from Edison Reef in the south to Mary's reef in the North. Each reef description will tell you the distance from a well know landmark so you can get a good idea how far out it is.

Arc Reef$2.99This is an artificial reef that covers an area of 0.38 X 0.40 miles and consists of a 100 ft. barge, bundled pipes, concrete power poles, concrete culverts and boxes, a 60 ft. sailboat and concrete reef balls put down between 1994 and 2004. This site is 25.4 miles at 259 degrees from the Punta Rassa Boat Ramp and 15 miles off of the Western part of Sanibel Island. Blanda Reef$2.99This is an artificial reef that covers an area of 0.33 X 0.28 miles and consists of a 45 ft. steel sailboat, concrete bridge rubble, 2-5 ft. boulders and a number of reef balls put down between 2003 and 2008. This site is 19.5 miles at 256 degrees from the Punta Rassa Boat Ramp and 10.4 miles off the western end of Sanibel Island. Cape Haze Reef$2.99This is an artificial reef that covers an area of 0.23 X 0.23 miles and consists of steel modules and concrete culverts put down between 1995 and 2002. This site is close to shore at 1.3 miles at 180 degrees from the southern tip of Cape Haze. The water depths here are in the 20 foot range and has a maximum relief of 6.4 feet off the bottom.
