This reef is an artificial reef covering an area of 0.33 X 0.27 miles and consists of 530 tons of concrete culverts, pipes, poles, junction boxes, three steel barges put down between 2001 and 2004 and the 80 ft. long tug named Orange, which was sunk in 2003. This reef is 12.5 miles at 251 degrees from Johns Pass and 14.8 miles at 282 degrees from Pass a Grill Pass. The water depths here are in the 45 foot range with a maximum relief of 8 feet off the bottom.
